My cooking...

Yes, I know the title to this post might scare some of you... my cooking can be somewhat... interesting? But I'll have you know that I have successfully cooked multiple meals in the last few weeks that have resulted in completely empty pans and zero leftovers! Yes, I do believe my cooking is becoming edible! Plus I have pictures to prove it! Not the best pictures but pictures nonetheless.

First up... Carbonara! That's right, I made delicious carbonara all by myself! Bacon. Lots of bacon. Oh and peas.

I also made garlic cheese rolls. Two things in one day. YUM!

I take it that even Bret is noticing an improvement in my cooking skills since he's starting to request meals. Have I ever told you about the first meal I cooked for Bret? Well it was when we were dating. You all know what I'm talking about... The Meal. The big one. That one chance to prove that you can cook. Yeah, the first time I cooked for Bret I made Chicken Enchiladas. I had made them before for my family and they turned out great but my brothers would pretty much eat any food you make. This time was different. They had to turn out. This time I was proving to Bret I could cook. Looking back I don't know why I was trying to prove I could cook when chicken enchiladas were pretty much the only thing I could cook. But I was so nervous that for one reason or another they wouldn't be edible. So on top of the enchiladas, I also cooked my next best meal; Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Just in case! That way we wouldn't starve. Lucky for me the enchiladas were perfect and I won Bret over. Yay!

The last meal Bret asked for was Shepherds Pie.

It was pretty darn good. I even surprised myself. The girls ate so much of it!

Who knows what we'll try next!
