Yummy Yummy Treats!

Back in July we had our friends over for an afternoon and made the most delicious yummy treats ever! My favorite cereal is Fruity Dino Bites, they come in those big Malt O Meal bags from the grocery store. We made Fruity Dino Bite Treats!

 

Recipe:

 

6 cups cereal

10 oz marshmallows

(we used 9 JUMBO campfire marshmallows)

3 tablespoons butter

 

Directions:

Slowly melt butter and marshmallows in large pan over low heat. When completely melted, remove from heat.

 

Add cereal, stir until well coated.

 

Scoop into muffin pan coated with cooking spray.

 

Cool

 

Enjoy!

JUMBO marshmallows!

 

 

I put them in a muffin pan because I didn't have a clean cake pan (read more below). I think I'll use muffin pans every time now. The treats were the perfect size!

 

 

The kids needed a snack while they waited for their real treat. Apples and peanut butter mmmm!

 

They all waited so patiently!

 

 

Finally the treats were ready to eat!

 

They were so delicious even Kennedy's dinosaur had to taste them! 

 

Kinda perfect... a dino eating dino bite treats.

 

 

 

I also made oatmeal cake (my absolute favorite cake in the world) with coconut topping. That's why my cake pan was dirty. Between us and the neighbors, the cake was gone in less than 24 hours!
