Maycie is missing her manners!

Maycie keeps fake coughing and quickly says "Oh my goodness where are my manners?!" She then goes on to cough and repeat the question. Never actually saying excuse me. When I told her she actually has to excuse herself she said "Silly me! I've lost my excuse me!"

Car noises

My car was making this awful sound a while back. We haven't been able to figure out what it was. It was constant and now it only happens at random times. Nothing is dragging or hanging off the car.
 Any guesses??

Cutie Pie Rosie Posie

Our little elf, Cutie Pie Rosie Posie, has been landing in our car the last few days. First she was next to Maycies seat, then up front and finally on the rear view mirror. The girls LOVE racing out every morning to see where she has landed. I'm glad she's back in the house though... Its cold outside!

Hard work pays off...

Remember when I talked about how cold it was and all the work Bret did under our trailer? I did it here. Well all Bret's hard work has paid off! Under the trailer is insulated so well, check out the temperature...

The "indoor" temp is inside our trailer and the "outdoor" temp is UNDER our trailer! I love having a handy husband! Our furnace hasn't turned on in weeks!

Girls Only!

We had a girls night while Bret was working. Activity of choice... take pictures of our funny faces!

Our Christmas Tree!

We finally decided it was time to buy a tree. We don't have any of our Christmas decorations here with us. Everything is in storage. I really felt awful about not using our Christmas stockings that Grandma B made us. I've used mine every Christmas, my whole life! Its such a huge tradition in our family. It made me sad that we weren't going to be opening our boxes filled with Christmas memories, all the ornaments we've collected, all the decorations we've made, all the pictures, I really felt sad. All of these things, all these traditions are what makes Christmas fun. I was telling a friend of mine about how I felt and she said I should start my own Christmas tradition of not having any traditions. So this was my one year to go out, buy ornaments and have a super fun, no strings attached, no tradition Christmas. I LOVE IT!

Bret and I went out and bought a tree and decorations while the girls were at school. Bret let me pick whatever I wanted! It was so fun!! My favorite part is the star! The girls have since covered it with handmade ornaments and our little elf has even landed here a time or two.

Since we got the tree we've finished all our Christmas shopping AND gift wrapping! Bring on the holidays!
