It's a good thing we have plenty of space for forts now days. We've been dying to make a fort with ALL our blankets! 13 blankets. 8 chairs. 1 table. 2 couches. 7 pillows. Total awesomeness!

Remember this game??
I spent hours and hours playing this game as a kid! Every road trip we went on a bucket of games came with us. This was one of those games! I was so super excited when Bret got this for us for Christmas.
...I hereby challenge any and all of my brothers to beat my high score...

Deviled eggs
I made deviled eggs for the first time ever! They were delicious! I always think of Laramie when I see deviled eggs. He started making them when he was old enough to handle eggs without breaking them. He got all the chef genes in the family, especially mine! I remember one day, he was probably 8ish, he worked so hard making deviled eggs. He was slaving away in the kitchen for the longest time. He made a huge tray of beautiful eggs to take to a family dinner. As he was walking out the door he tripped and the whole tray went flying through the air and landed in the driveway. I felt so bad for him! That didn't stop him from making them again. We just ate them in the kitchen from then on :)
Easy bake oven!
The girls got this for Christmas. I'm not sure if they got it because they wanted it or because I really wanted it! Either way works because they love it! I wish I still had my easy bake oven from when i was a kid. How cool would it be to have both?!
I promise I feed my kids!
I know it doesn't seem like I cook but sometimes I do! Maycie was so excited for dinner she sat watching it cook for 20 minutes!
Haylees new toy
Haylee got a scooter for Christmas. She went crazy when she saw it! She wants to ride it all the time. She even goes outside when is snowing and rides it around. We go to a park that has a track around it most days after school. Maycie rides a bike, Haylee rides her scooter and I run after them trying to keep up!
Lamps!
My favorite lamp! We had tons of fun lamp shopping when we moved in. Isn't this thing awesome?!
Snow puppy
The girls have been playing outside so much lately. The weather has been so nice! We've been around 30 for a couple weeks now. This is seriously the best winter of my entire life!

He's a firefighter!
Bret became a volunteer firefighter in October. He absolutely loves it! There have been two funerals this week that the firefighters have been involved with. That's why he's dressed up fancy.
The girls think it's the coolest thing in the world that he's a firefighter. They couldn't wait to tell their friends about it. Maycie will walk up to total strangers at the store and say "My dad had two jobs. He works and Craigs and HE'S A FIREFIGHTER!"
