Spring cleaning!

We're a little late on our spring cleaning... we'll just call it back to school cleaning :)

We found our robot Alphie... I guess I'll be cleaning by myself now!

After getting myself ready for the day I tracked Maycie down so I could get her ready. When she saw me this is what she said:

"Mom you look....... different.  You look like.........aaaaaaa.........a monster. But don't worry,  I still love you."

Haylee

Just look at how much this little one has grown up. It amazes me how much she has changed over the last year.  I still look at her and wonder how on earth she grew up so fast!

Cousins!

Yep,  we made a surprise trip to salt lake again!  I found out at 8:30 Friday night that we were leaving at 9:00 that night. It started out as a quick 4 day trip but I think it's just going to keep growing and growing.  Who knows when we'll actually be going home.

The girls are having so much fun with their cousins! Sunday we went to my nephew Kollin's baby blessing. Maycie absolutely adores babies and she was in heaven holding Kollin so much! They're almost the same size but she just loves having a baby around that she can actually hold. Here are a couple pictures, one of Maycie and kollin and one of Maycie and Kamryn. Haylee was busy running crazy with the boys I didn't get any pictures of her... but both girls are loving all the time they have to play with cousins this trip!

Happy 4th of July eve!

We're kicking this holiday off with a little practice round of fireworks!  Haylee is a little pyro and Maycie is actually willing to hold sparklers! I can't wait for the real thing tomorrow!

Boondoggle!

The days of boondoggle have arrived!! I taught Haylee how to do boondoggle and she's addicted!  She made this one after I started it.  I only did 4 folds and she did the rest.  She loves it!!! I'm so happy she has found something quiet to keep her busy!

Ps she's running low on boondoggle grandma.  Hint hint ;) she'd love the glow in the dark kind.

Crafts!

We had craft time today.  It started out as 4 th of July crafts and quickly turned into get-everything-out-and-make-a-mess time.  I did manage to make the USA out of buttons!  The big blue one near Canada,  that's us in north Dakota.  The big red one below N.D. is Utah and the red one on the west coast is Lurm in California.  Zoom in,  his red button has a heart :)
